Rich is the best contractor we've ever had, and to validate that, we own several homes, have moved many times, and have seen more than our fair share of contractors over the years. He showed up at the house and quoted a large job working on/impacting most of the 3700 sq. ft. house - a job which included stripping large quantities of wallpaper in various rooms, fixing walls to like-new condition, painting rooms, redoing ceilings, fixing trim, cleaning house thoroughly, replacing toilets, upgrading bathrooms as needed, reworking vanities, putting in new floors, fixtures, washing the outside, working on plumbing, dealing with window treatments, noticing oddities as they arise and the list goes on and on... simply put: if he was in a room, he made it better.

Over the past two months he has restored our home to a renovated and new condition - you walk the rooms which he worked in and you feel a tremendous sense of pride and value - it looks good, the process to get there was pleasant, and you have to pinch yourself and wonder how could it go this smoothly and the workmanship be this good. The truth is we had a glitch here and hick-up there in the renovation process, such as materials arriving late, or discovering a loose end - but absolutely to no deliberate fault or negligence of Rich. Anything that came up as surprise, he dealt with in such a gracious and caring manner that you never really thought of things as having gone wrong. Rich is communicative, proactive, caring, knowledgeable, resourceful, trustworthy, and best of all does an impeccable job. Hire him today!

May 2014

Project cost $10,000 - $49,000

I have had him in my home, very dependable. He is artist with some of his work, knows colors, good suggestions, does excellent work.

December 2010

We are completely happy with our master bathroom remodel. From the moving of wall to enlarge the shower area, to the tile work(floor/wall), and to the custom vanity/ wall cabinet/ mirror.

June 2012

$10,000 - $49,999

Rich and his team at Axis Kitchen and Bath did a wonderful job remodeling my bathroom. Their pricing is reasonable. They recommended places to get the products I wanted or went out of their way to go out and get them for me. I love the tile work (floor and shower) and the built-in shelf in the shower. The only downside was dealing for over a month with all the dust that came with tearing the bathroom down to the studs and building it back up again. It was worth it in the end though as everything from plumbing, to electrical, to taking out two soffits to create more space in the bathroom really helped to update and create a more beautiful and usable space.

November 2019

I am commencing my second project with Rich and his crew.

The first job was a remodel of a bathroom where tenants had put in a shower without a surround or proper ventilation. Walls and ceiling were molded. So the job was gutting the room, installing a tile surround, tub, shower, vanity, toilet, proper venting, light and replacing ceiling and walls.

Axis' crew was friendly, courteous and considerate of those living in the house.

Although there were some hitches, Rich stood behind his work until things were to my satisfaction without even mentioning any additional costs.

This meant he didn't make much off the job, but it IS why I am a return customer for the next stage in the overall renovation of my house.

It is good to work with a stand up guy.

September 2012

Project Cost $1,000 - $9,999

Living in a Historical home my Husband and I have hired Axis for many things including plaster repair, plumbing etc.. We have been very pleased with his work and plan on them completing other repairs/renovations in the future.. I am also a full time Realtor and have felt comfortable referring Axis Kitchen and Bath Design Center to many of my clients for kitchen and bath remodeling and many other types of home renovations. Every client has been extremely happy and I will continue to refer Axis Kitchen & Bath Design Center business. It is important as a Realtor to have these connections and good working relationships with contractors. Also Axis Kitchen and Bath Design Center is licensed and insured which gives added peace of mind to their customers.

November 2013

Project Cost $1,000 - $9,999

We used Axis to remodel a bathroom; a new tiled shower, double sink vanity, new tile floor and lighting. This was our second time using Rich and his staff. He had previously completed some remodeling work in our living room and we were more than pleased with that result. But the bath remodel did not go as smoothly.

The initial tile job on the shower was not acceptable. Many tiles were not even and protruded from the wall. Rich agreed thinking that the wall needed to be re-plumbed (a fiberglass shower surround was being replaced). The walls were retiled and although it came out better there were still uneven spots. Rich again agreed and admitted that the work did not meet his standards and decided that the entire shower would be torn out and started from scratch. The staff doing the work is no longer employed by Axis. The third times a charm.

The shower turned out beautiful. Rich even allowed us to choose new tile. All of the above was done at no add'l. charge to us.

While the process may not have gone smoothly Rich's only concern through all of it was our complete satisfaction and that was achieved. I would recommend Axis to anyone contemplating a bath remodel.

May 2013

$10,000 - $49,999

I would recommend Richard and Axis Property Management 100 times over and over again. The work they do is top notch and their customer service is beyond compare. I'm extremely happy I went with them and look to use them in the future for many house projects! I cant say enough about how great a job they did.

March 2011

Rich provided EXCELLENT service and craftsmanship regarding the plumbing and finish/caulking work for our kitchen and bathroom remodel. He was so helpful and accommodating that he was the first person we contacted to complete the finished carpentry (casing and baseboard) at our retail store before it's grand opening. I would suggest anyone looking for great customer service skills AND quality work to be completed....call Rich.

February 2014

Project Cost $1,000 - $9,999

Axis remodeled our bathroom. They removed our old bathtub and installed a new bath/shower enclosure and re-tiled above and around it. Did a great job matching the existing tile so we did not have to re-tile the entire bathroom. Also installed new vanity top. We are very happy with the work. Rich was always easy to contact, always showed up on time and the work was completed in a timely fashion. Sinks, toilet, and faucets were also replaced. They also installed an outside vented ceiling fan. Great work and no issues so far.
